This got off to a sensational start in 2018. The San Miguel National Russian Salad Championship awards a prize to the restaurant producing one of Spanish gastronomy's star attractions, a traditional recipe which is nevertheless open to new versions, such as that prepared by the last winner. Daniel Moreno, from Benito Gómez's Tragatá restaurant in Ronda, Málaga, took the award for the 4th San Miguel National Russian Salad Championship; we will see who the winner is this year.
