Chefs will be competing to be declared "Oil Chef. This is the 19th round, at San Sebastian Gastronomika once more after the original "Lo Mejor de la Gastronomía" congress, whereupon it moved on to Jaén.

The competition sets out to showcase the excellent qualities and properties of extra virgin olive oil in gastronomy, and promote its utilisation in gastronomy as a basic flavour and ingredient of the Mediterranean diet.
