This year the award for the best facet of gastronomy journalism goes to the United Kingdom.

San Sebastian Gastronomika – Euskadi Basque Country is talks and live cookery demonstrations, but it does not forsake awards. In addition to the legendary Homage Award and the "Gueridón de Oro" Award, since 2012 the congress has had a prize for the best facet of gastronomy journalism. 

It is known as the Pau Albornà i Torras Gastronomy Journalism Award in memory of this young journalist, who died in 2012. It is decided by a panel of chefs, journalists and gastronomes chosen by the organisation. This year it will go to British journalist Sarah Jane Evans.
